Ironically, he learns the same lessons in life we all do taking a very different, and interesting route. If you have ever made a bet (or wanted to), read It's Always A Game. A home run!

Douglas Beatty was born in West Toronto, Canada

Raised by parents whose life style was oriented to gambling he was playing cards at five, and going to Crap games with his Dad at fifteen. He ran card games and had a small book making operation in his teens and into his twenties.
